Day 1 | Nairobi | Nairobi On arrival at JKIA, you are met by a Nature Expeditions representative and transferred to Windsor Golf & Country Club. Lunch on own arrangements. Afternoon play golf at the club. Dinner on own arrangements. Overnight at WINDSOR GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB (bed & breakfast) Nairobi City Windsor Golf Club Located on the outskirts of the city centre, about 14 Kms away, is the Windsor Golf and Country Club. Day 3 | Nairobi | Nairobi Breakfast at the hotel and depart for another golf filled day at the Karen Golf and Country Club. Drive past the Nairobi National Park and proceed to Karen area. Considered by some to be one of the prettiest courses in Kenya because of its profusion of flowering trees and bushes, Karen Golf and Country Club should never be missed out. It is certainly one of the top 18-hole championship courses in the city (Yardage 6893 Par 72-18 holes.) You will most definitely enjoy your golfing here, and will remain with fond recollections. Have lunch at the Karen Golf and Country Club, and then visit the museum of Karen Blixen, the author of Out Of Africa before returning to the Windsor Golf and Country Club. Day 4 | Aberdares | Nairobi/ Aberdares After an early breakfast at the Club, depart for the drive to Nyeri and on arrival, proceed to the Nyeri Golf and Country Club for Golf and lunch. Later drive to the Outspan Hotel. Dinner and overnight at THE OUTSPAN HOTEL (full board) Nyeri Sports Club |
Day 5 | Mount Kenya | Aberdares/ Mount Kenya After breakfast drive to Nanyuki arriving to a buffet lunch at the famous Mount Kenya Safari Club, founded by the late film star William Holden. The afternoon is spent playing golf at this prestigious club, which sits on the Equator facing Kenya's highest mountain, snow-capped Mount Kenya. This is the only golf course where you can actually play golf in the north and south hemispheres at the same time. Day 6 | Naivasha | Mount Kenya/ Nakuru/ Naivasha After breakfast morning drive via Thompsons Falls down the floor of the Great Rift Valley escarpment to Lake Nakuru National Park, a protected game sanctuary for endangered species such as the Black/ White rhino, Rothschild Giraffe among other usual game such as the leopard and Lion. The park is world-renowned for its millions of pink Flamingoes found around the lake. Picnic lunch is served in the Park. Afternoon game drive. Thereafter proceed to the rift valley lodge arriving there in the early evening. Dinner and overnight at GREAT RIFT VALLEY LODGE (half board) Lake Nakuru National Park |
Day 7 | Naivasha | Naivasha Breakfast at this serene lodge and then enjoy a round of golf at the Green Park. Lunch at the lodge. The rest of the afternoon will be spent with another round of golf or leisure to enjoy the many optional activities offered by the lodge (at an extra cost), example, the Eburru forest, boat trip on L. Day 8 | Maasai Mara | Naivasha/ Maasai Mara After breakfast, morning drive to the Rift Valley escarpment to Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch at Mara Serena Lodge. Day 9 | Maasai Mara | Maasai Mara Spend a further day in Mara. During your full day game drives, you have the opportunity to explore this great reserve in depth. You may see elephant, giraffe, prides of lion, and thousands of impala, topi, grants and Thomson's gazelle. The Mara is the scene of annual migration of millions of wildebeest up from the Serengeti plains in search of water and grasses. All meals and overnight at MARA SERENA LODGE (full board). |
Day 10 | Nairobi | Maasai Mara/ Nairobi/ Depart After breakfast depart for the drive to Nairobi arriving in time for a farewell lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant. Afternoon transfer to JKIA for your home bound flight. |
